  1. Truly inspiring. The photos capture personalities and emotions; they are such a great representation of so many different walks of life. And the blog entries and stories of change made me get up and volunteer some of my own precious time for Obama! Thank you for sharing this and inspiring us all!

    Good luck!

  3. Hey you two! When are you going to be back in NY? If you make it home by the 15th, the final debate is at Hofstra, maybe you can do something there? If not, I miss you guys and can’t wait to see you and hear even more about your adventures!
Love, Marguret (and the rest of the Suarez-Wenks!)

  4. Rachel and Rob,

After weeks of working with dozens of volunteers and making lots of new friends here in Atlanta, it was a real treat to participate in your wonderful project. At 55 years old and actively political most of my life, I’ve never participated in a more exciting and invigorating movement, and I thank you for documenting the infectious enthusiasm shared by all in this historical campaign. CHANGE is on the horizon!

  6. Cathy and I were knocking door to door in the freezing rain and snow during the Primaries talking to people about Barack Obama. We are absolutely floored at how many young people have gotten involved in this campaign. To see the Labor of Love you have put into this project is indeed inspiring. You are catching history in the making. Keep up the great work.

  7. Rachel and Rob -
Thanks so much for coming out to Memphis - we loved having you here. The project is beautiful and all of our guests were proud to pose for you.
If you’re ever back in the area, please stop by.

  8. Rachel and Rob-
I just sent an e-mail to everyone I know to encourage them to check out your website. I told my friends about your interesting and beautiful work. I said, if you find yourself feeling stressed about the election- go look at their photos, enjoy the smiling faces of many ages, races and places.

I know I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions lately; scrolling through your gallery reinvigorated my hope in my American sisters & brothers to do the right thing and vote for Barack Obama this Nov. 4

Good luck to you both- be safe during your travels home and I can’t wait to buy the book!
