When Kristen and I look at each other we do not see race, age or gender. We see friendship. When we see Barack Obama we do not see race, age or gender. We see a leader. We see hope. We see conviction and compassion. We see the change we want, not just in our country, but also globally.
Kristen and I got involved in the Obama fundraiser because we wanted to contribute our energy, on some level, to help manifest change and bring hope.
A quote that I try to live by is from Ghandi. He said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” For me this change is Barack Obama, and I am proud that Kristen and I were a small part of trying to make this happen.
